Meet Kate:

Runner, Dietitian, & Dog Mom

Kate is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for running, spending time outdoors, yoga, and nutrition. Her background spans hospital-based clinical nutrition and sports performance, giving her a deeper understanding of how the body performs, recovers, and adapts.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition and a Master's in Nutritional Sciences. She has worked with athletes at every level, from those lacing up for their very first 5K to seasoned competitors crossing Ironman finish lines.

As a former high-performance sprint kayaker, Kate understands firsthand the challenge of figuring out how to fuel a body that's constantly being pushed. You'll find her on Sunday mornings running with friends or out on the trails with her golden retriever, Riley, and her post-long-run meal usually ends with pancakes and coffee.

Kate founded Zone2Nutrition with a clear mission: to help endurance athletes stop hitting the wall at kilometre 32, train hard with less fatigue, recover faster, and hold onto the muscle they've worked so hard to build.
